What Liftable may do to your store, and what it may not.
The short version: the agent proposes, you decide, and nothing reaches a shopper without your approval. The rest of this page says that precisely.

The agreement
Installing Liftable on a Shopify store, or using this site, accepts these terms. The person installing it confirms they are authorised to act for that store.
What the app may do to a store
Liftable proposes; the merchant decides; a runtime executes. That order is enforced in code, not asked for in a prompt.
The agent can read the store and write down a proposal. It cannot start a test, approve its own work, or change anything a shopper sees. Every change to a live system passes through the autonomy ladder the merchant sets, and each surface — theme, offers, shipping, email flows, apps — is raised separately by them.
Changes are made on a duplicate theme or a draft, never by editing the live theme in place, and any experiment can be reversed.
Experiments and the numbers we report
Results use sequential testing with a pre-registered metric, effect size and guardrails, recorded before a test starts. We refuse to start a test a store does not have the traffic to read, and we say so rather than running it blind.
Revenue figures are estimates until an experiment has been measured against a holdback. Anything we call verified is measured; anything we call an estimate says so on the page. Nothing here is a guarantee of a commercial outcome.
What the merchant is responsible for
The store, its content, its prices, its legal obligations to its own shoppers, and the decisions made about which experiments to approve. We give the evidence and the reasoning; the merchant decides.
Keeping their own accounts and connector credentials secure, and telling us promptly if they think one has been compromised.
What we are responsible for
Running the service with reasonable care, keeping each store's data separate, honouring the autonomy settings a merchant sets, and being accurate about what we did and why. The audit log is there so a merchant can check us rather than take our word for it.
Availability
We do not promise uninterrupted service. We will give notice of planned work where we can. A live experiment continues to run against the merchant's store during an outage on our side; its guardrails and its rollback are unaffected.
Fees
Plans and prices are on the pricing page. Where a store is in a design-partner or trial arrangement, the terms of that arrangement are what apply for its duration.
Ending it
A merchant can uninstall at any time from their Shopify admin. Uninstalling revokes our access immediately and starts the deletion described in the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that is being used to harm shoppers, another store, or the service itself, and we will say why.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We will date any material change to these terms on this page. Questions go to legal@liftable.dev; anything about a store's own data goes to privacy@liftable.dev.
