URLs cited by AI answers redirect to home or 404
What it is
Links to your store that AI assistants cite in their answers redirect to the home page or return a 404.
Why it costs money
A shopper who taps a link in an assistant's answer has already said what they want. Landing on the home page or an error page throws that away, usually because a product or collection was renamed or removed without a redirect.
How to see it on your own store
Ask ChatGPT or Perplexity to recommend a product from your store, tap the links it gives, and check where each one lands.
What Liftable would do
301 to correct collection.
Adds a URL redirect in Shopify. No page is edited.
Liftable cannot write to your store yet, so approving records your decision and changes nothing.
How it is priced
A scan prices this against your own traffic and average order value, then assumes a fix wins back 50% of the excess loss — never more than half, and never more than 35% of that surface's revenue. The formula and every input are printed on the report, so you can disagree with the number and see exactly which assumption to argue with.
A scan checks this and 38 other things on your store, prices each one, and drafts the first fix.
