AI agents blocked or no llms.txt

What it is

Your robots.txt blocks AI agents such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot, or the store has no llms.txt.

Why it costs money

Product discovery increasingly starts in an assistant rather than a search engine. A robots.txt written for scrapers years ago can exclude you from that entirely, and an llms.txt that lists your collections, shipping and returns pages is one of the few AI-readiness items entirely under your control.

How to see it on your own store

Open yourstore.com/robots.txt and look for Disallow rules under AI user-agents. Then check whether yourstore.com/llms.txt exists.
