In one paragraph
What it does today
Each line below is the same sentence the comparison pages and the how-it-works page use for that part of the product, with a flag saying whether it works today, is done with the founding team, or is not live yet.
The free scan
Available nowA free crawl of your URL runs 35 of the 39 planned checks and shows each finding on your own pages, desktop and mobile, with its evidence. It prints no dollar figure, because a crawl has seen no shopper and no order.
The pixel
Available nowThe pixel is built: a theme app embed on the storefront and a Shopify web pixel at checkout, held under 30 kB and silent until the shopper consents. It records the steps a shopper took, not a video of the session. Until a store turns it on, the evidence comes from the crawl.
Estimates
Available nowOnce a store's pixel and orders are connected, each opportunity gets an estimated monthly range, with its inputs shown. The free scan prints no dollar figure.
Drafts
Available nowDrafts change sets from 20 fix templates for you to read and approve. Liftable never writes theme files: a page change can only be shown through its theme app extension, which covers five trust and delivery fixes so far.
Control
Available nowAn autonomy ladder per surface, guardrails, an approval modal, six reject reasons that become standing rules and a decisions log. Built and covered by tests.
Connectors
Available nowKlaviyo, GA4, Gorgias, Recharge, Judge.me and the other connectors are built. They only read, apart from Klaviyo, where Liftable can also create a flow as a draft. No merchant has connected one in production yet.
Tests
With the founding teamShipping and discount tests run as Shopify Functions, and a shipping test has run on our own development store. Page tests run through Liftable's theme app extension. No test has run on a merchant's store.
Statistics
With the founding teamA sequential test (mSPRT) with a power check that refuses underpowered tests. Checked in simulation: over 1,000 runs on A/A data, false positives must stay within a point of the 5% it is set to. No experiment has been read to a result on a merchant's store.
The receipt
Not yetBuilt: revenue measured on Shopify orders against a 10% holdback, never projected. No store has a verified line on it yet.
Track record
Not yetNo published merchant results, and no receipts to show yet.
What it will not do
Each line is a rule in the code or the terms, not a preference.
- Edit your theme’s code, live or duplicate.
- Change anything a shopper sees without your approval.
- Uninstall one of your apps.
- Call a winner early: a test is read with a sequential method, and only at the boundary it was registered with.
- Start a test your store does not have the traffic to read.
- Promise a result. There is no performance guarantee.
Who it is for
For Shopify brands doing £/$1m–$20m a year. The buyer is usually the founder or the head of growth. A developer and a marketer approve changes on some surfaces, and the store needs enough traffic to measure a change: about 50,000 sessions a month is where a storefront change can be read in a few weeks.
Start from the problem you have on the solutions pages, or from your category on the industry pages.
What it costs
Founding Brand Programme: A hands-on 14-day revenue-recovery sprint for Shopify brands with enough traffic to measure real improvement.
- 14 days free, conditional on an active setup and a scheduled review.
- Then $750–$1,500 a month depending on sessions, including implementation support.
- Cancel any time after the first month. No performance guarantee.
Self-serve plans at $125, $400 and $999 a month are listed on the pricing page and are coming later. The store scan is free for anyone.
Where the data lives
Install asks Shopify for 9 permissions, none of which can write to a theme. Each store’s data is scoped to that store by the database itself, with row-level security. The only thing pooled across stores is the anonymised effect size of finished tests, and a store can opt out. The security page is the one-page version; the privacy policy and the terms say the same things at length.
Questions
What is Liftable?
Liftable finds the revenue leaks in your Shopify store, tells you what to fix first, and helps prove which changes created more orders. It starts with a free scan that needs no install, and continues, for brands in its Founding Brand Programme, with the Liftable team implementing and measuring the first fix. Automated split testing is built and has run on Liftable’s own development store; it has not run on a merchant’s store.

What does Liftable do today, exactly?
A free crawl of your URL runs 35 of the 39 planned checks and shows each finding on your own pages, desktop and mobile, with its evidence. It prints no dollar figure, because a crawl has seen no shopper and no order. Once a store's pixel and orders are connected, each opportunity gets an estimated monthly range, with its inputs shown. Does Liftable change my store automatically?
No. Nothing changes on a store until a person approves it, and every decision is recorded. Liftable never edits a theme’s code: a page change can only be shown through its theme app extension, which the merchant switches on in the theme editor, and shipping and discount tests run as Shopify Functions once a test is approved.
How is Liftable different from Hotjar, Clarity or a testing tool?
Replay and heatmap tools record sessions for a person to interpret, and testing tools run the experiment you designed. Liftable does the step in between: it finds what to change, drafts it, and measures it honestly. It has no recordings and no visual editor, and the comparison pages say where each other tool is the better choice.

What data does Liftable hold about shoppers?
The pixel records pages viewed, clicks, scroll depth and the names of form fields, never what was typed, and only after the shopper has consented to analytics. From an order it keeps the id, totals, discount codes, refunds and the test arm, not the customer’s name, email or address. Pixel data is deleted after 90 days.
Has any merchant published a result with Liftable?
No published merchant results, and no receipts to show yet. The Founding Brand Programme publishes a result for each founding brand, even when the test loses.
