Mobile conversion for Shopify brands
Most of the traffic is on a phone and most of the orders are not. Part of that is the shopper, and part of it is the store. This page is about the second part, which is the part a scan can see.

The fold, on a phone, is unforgiving
A 390-pixel-wide viewport shows a gallery and a title. The price, the variant picker and the button are often below it. The scan measures where the product’s own add-to-cart sits against the fold, and where the express payment buttons sit in the cart drawer, because a button the shopper has to find is a button most of them do not press.
Interruptions land harder
A discount popup within three seconds of landing on a phone covers the whole screen, and a mega-menu that needs more than two taps to reach a collection is a navigation the shopper gives up on. Neither shows up on a desktop crawl, which is why every check runs at both viewports.
Speed is a mobile problem first
The same app scripts that a desktop on fibre hides take seconds on 4G. The scan measures Largest Contentful Paint on the product pages with a phone profile, attributes the delay to the scripts responsible, and names the images without responsive sizes and the fonts without display swap.
The checks that look for this
The free scan runs these on your own pages, desktop and mobile, and shows each finding with its evidence. Each check has its own page saying how to see the problem without installing anything.
- P2Add-to-cart below the fold on mobile
- C4Express checkout buttons missing or below the fold on mobile cart
- S7Popup shown within 3 s of landing on mobile
- N5Mega-menu unusable on mobile
- P1Apps delay first paint on product pages
- S3Too much JavaScript or too many third-party domains
- S5Images unoptimised
- S4Web fonts slow or unoptimised
- C5Cart drawer slow to open or re-renders

What you get
- Every finding judged on a phone viewport (390 × 844, iPhone user agent) as well as desktop, with the mobile screenshot where the two differ.
- Load time on the product pages, mobile profile, with the script time attributed to each app.
- A drafted change where there is a template, and a fix ticket to the responsible app where the cause is a script.
- Once the pixel is on, the share of your sessions on mobile and how each finding splits by device, as inputs to the estimate rather than as a benchmark.
Who it is for
A good fit
- Stores where most sessions are mobile and most revenue is not.
- Brands running paid social, where almost every landing is on a phone.
Not the right tool
- A store that wants a mobile app or a headless rebuild. Liftable works on the theme you have.
Questions
Is a mobile conversion gap always a problem?
No. Mobile carries more first visits and more browsing, so some gap is the shopper and not the store. What the scan finds is the part that is mechanical: a button out of reach, a popup in the way, a page that takes too long. Those are yours to fix.
Does the scan use a real phone?
It uses a headless browser with a 390 × 844 viewport and an iPhone user agent, the way most testing tools do. It is a lab measurement, so load times are comparable across runs; once your pixel is on, the field numbers come from your own shoppers.
Can Liftable fix the add-to-cart position?
It drafts the change as a sticky add-to-cart bar for your developer. Liftable never edits theme code, so a layout change is a recommendation with the diff written out, and the founding team helps implement and measure it.
