Liftable and Klaviyo: flows and metrics read, a recovery flow drafted

Liftable reads Klaviyo flows, metrics and list counts, shows recovery flows beside the cart opportunities that feed them, and can create a flow as a draft that goes live only when you approve it. Four scopes, no profiles, no email addresses.

  • Reads and writes

What connecting it does for you

  • Your recovery flows and their metrics beside the cart and checkout opportunities on the storefront that feed them.
  • A recovery flow drafted for you where there is none, or a drafted variant where there is one.

What Liftable reads

  • Flows and their structure.
  • Flow and campaign metrics.
  • List counts (how many people, not who).

What Liftable can write

  • Create a flow, as a draft. It is never activated by Liftable: it goes live only when you approve it, and the approval is recorded in the decisions log.

What it never reads or does

  • Profiles, list members, segments or any email address. The scopes requested do not allow it.
  • Sending anything. Klaviyo sends; Liftable does not.

The permissions requested

  • flows:read
  • flows:write
  • metrics:read
  • lists:read

These are the permissions the connector asks the vendor for, as the vendor names them. The Connections page shows the same list on the row before you connect.

How to connect

  • Create a private API key in Klaviyo with the four scopes above and paste it on the Connections page. The first read runs as soon as you connect.
  • Klaviyo’s marketplace app for Liftable does not exist yet, so OAuth is not offered. No merchant has connected Klaviyo in production so far.

How often, and where the data lands

Read hourly, with a read on demand from the Connections row. A normalised digest of flows and metrics is kept; no profile data is stored.

Questions

Will Liftable email my customers?

No. It can create a flow as a draft in Klaviyo. Klaviyo sends, and only once you have reviewed the flow and turned it on.

Can I revoke access?

Yes, in two places: disconnect on the Connections page, which purges the key immediately, or delete the key in Klaviyo.
